
For more than a decade, Erin flew Navy helicopters all over the world.
Now, she writes. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, ProPublica, The Seattle Times, San Francisco Chronicle, War Horse Journal, among others. She co-authored a story as part of ProPublica’s ‘Life of the Mother’ series that was awarded the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. She earned an M.A. in Journalism from Stanford University and a B.S. in English from the United States Naval Academy.
